Tough first day at 5.5 metre Gold Cup
What a great day of sailing in Curacao! Very steady breeze around 15-20 knots and clearblue sky. We had a great start and lead the fleet at the first weather mark. Then destiny struck and we chinese gybed and broached. We finally got the boat up and was at that stage in 4th place and were never able to advance any further up during the remain of the race.At least it feels like the boat is fast and we should have a great chance of getting a better end result tomorrow.
Will be back with more onwards!
