At last a bullet at the Gold Cup
Today we finally got a bullet in. The rules at the 5.5 metre Gold Cup is very special. Only bullets (race wins) counts and first to three bullets win the regatta. After 3 races, only race winners remains. In our case we have had three different winners so in the final races we will have a three-boat race.
The bullet came in the first race. Even though the favoured track has been very one-sided due to current and the team were down at 4th place early on, the team were able to climb back to a winning position.
The conditions are extremely stable and there is plenty of breeze on. The arms will be one and a half meter long at the end of these races!!!
