Team Baghdad is sailing strong at the 5.5 European Championships in  Bénodet, France. After 6 races, the team has a scoreline of four wins, one second and a forth – looking good for the remaining part of the championships. Eight races are scheduled until Friday.

The 5.5 class sails a European Championships every year a World Championship is being sailed outside Europe. As this year’s Worlds were sailed in Curaçao, consequenly the Europeans is being sailed. Last time a Europeans was sailed, Team Baghdad were able to win (2008 in Mariehamn, Finland).
