Another double wins as breeze picks up
Another great day at the 5.5 meter Worlds. We in Team Baghdad pretty much picked up where we left yesterday. Conservative starts prevented any 1st mark leads but with good speed and by avoiding any tactical mistakes, we were able to work themselves up to the lead and eventual wins.
The races were sailed in strong breeze and quite some chop. It gave great opportunities to make big gains downwind and that felt like our strongest side.
Even though only half of the races has been completed, the major competitors are already visible. Even though we have won all races, Mark Holoweski from Bahamas with a Norwegian crew are not too far behind.
